Lambs UK is currently seeking cable pullers to add to their team. The position is a trainee role which includes the potential to gain the NRSWA qualification. Training will be provided.

Successful candidates should have the following characteristics:-

• Be well presented, polite and practical with a willingness to learn.

Candidates must possess a full driving licence, as a van will be provided. The additional team members will be working on a major telecommunication contract.

The position is available for immediate start and the vacancy is open to both people seeking a new challenge within the telecommunication industry and school leavers at the start of their career.
The weekly wage for the position is between £250 to £300 per week (adhering to the minimum wage guidelines). Please note self-employed people are responsible for paying their own National Insurance contributions and tax.

Construction Crew

Lambs UK is currently seeking Groundworkers with NRSWA / Streetworks cards to work on a major Telecommunications contract.

You must have the following:

• Experience carrying out all aspects of groundwork.
• A valid and in date NRSWA / Streetworks Ticket.
• Be available for immediate start.
• Be well presented, polite, practical with a willingness to learn.
• Be a team player or able to work under own initiative.
• Possess good communication skills.
• A proven ability in the use of hand and power tools would be an advantage.
• Own a full, clean driving licence as a fully equipped van is provided.

Supervisor – Cable Team

Lambs UK is currently seeking to employ a self-employed Supervisor for their Cable Pulling team. The position covers the UK, and would involve 40 hours of work per week, spread across Monday to Saturday (7am to 6pm).

Applicants must have:
•A full driving licence and good leadership qualities.
•Experience in the cable television industry.
•Supervisory experience (an advantage).
• Must be computer literate.

The successful applicant will help to prioritise jobs out to the teams and assist Lambs UK management with the day to day running of the business.

Pay would be based upon experience and, working on a self-employed basis, the successful applicant would be responsible for paying their own National Insurance contributions and tax.
